Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage our HR and Office Administration teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in HR practices and Japanese labor law, experience managing diverse teams, and a commitment to enhancing our company culture and operational excellence. This position is based in our Tokyo office in Nishiazabu, and regular working hours will be from 10 AM – 7 PM JST. Key Responsibilities: HR Leadership - Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and culture. - Develop and implement HR strategies that align with company objectives. - Ensure compliance with Japanese labor laws and regulations. - Lead talent management strategies including career development and succession planning. - Work with department heads on HR needs assessment and workforce planning. Administration - Supervise administrative functions to ensure efficient operations, including office management and general support. - Optimize administrative processes to improve operational efficiency. Strategic Planning and Advisory - Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights on organizational development and workforce strategy. - Analyze and present data on HR metrics including turnover, employee satisfaction, etc. - Advise leadership on emerging HR trends in the Japanese market. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field. - 3 to 5 years of HR experience, including 2 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR practices. - Proven experience managing HR functions in a multinational environment. - Exceptional leadership and communication skills. - Fluent in Japanese and English.
